I think gentle reminders for simple exercise (for physical AND mental/emotional health) are important. We all know we should be active on most days and we all have lists of “more important things to do”. I guarantee that a wee 30-minute walk or bike ride or whatever you enjoy doing, will change your whole day! You’ll feel energized, confident and happy that you “took the plunge” and did something for your health and fitness. And it will likely eliminate some of your excuses when you remind yourself that you did it ! You can do it again…..and again…….. please share your photos and tell us about the experience. Roasting vegetables brings out the richer, deeper flavor that is hidden from the tastebuds until the heat activates their inner sugars, reduces the water content , concentrating the textures and flavors and their texture becomes crispy and pleasing to the palate.

I’ve always enjoyed a roasted baby potato salad but had never tried roasting Radishes. But here they are, delicious on their own but this nutritious salad elevated to the highest level of “Yumm!” When I roasted those “lowly” Radishes.

I’ve posted this before but I can’t help myself. It actually brings me to tears. Please watch and tell me if you think it’s wonderful ( or maybe I’m just an idiot. A blubbering one).

Leena and I saw a pair of ducks relaxing in a shady grassy spot in a park. No ducklings (yet) but they seemed relaxed and safe. I look forward to seeing them with a little trail of ducklings soon

Spring is a special time of year for many reasons, but I have to acknowledge this beautiful view from my home office window these days. **And remember that yard work -like raking the fallen blossoms that flood my driveway and blow into the house every time we open the front door, is excellent exercise for the upper body and for your mid-section/core strength. Rake! Sweep! Enjoy!
