Another incredible spousal sponsorship success story! π¨π¦β¨
Our team recently received a Passport Request (PPR) today for a challenging spousal sponsorship case involving an in*******al relationship and a 29-year age gap. The file had significant concerns and required careful repair, strong documentation, and strategic presentation.
The result? β
IRCC did not ask for a single additional document, clarification, or interview request throughout the entire process.
This approval is proof that with proper preparation, genuine relationships can be successfully presented β even in complex cases.
Congratulations to our happy couple as they move one step closer to starting their life together in Canada! β€οΈ

Our client, a Canadian permanent resident had 0 days in Canada.
We initially applied for a PRTD on H&C grounds in early August 2025 due to compelling personal circumstances. However, an urgent situation required immediate travel to Canada while the application was still pending. We provided strategic guidance for entry through a land border, ensuring the client was fully prepared to present their case. As a result, the client was successfully admitted to Canada in the end of August 2025. We then strengthened their H&C case and proceeded with a PR card renewal application in December 2025.
Despite the residency shortfall, the application was approved, and the clientβs PR card was issued today
Success Story: PR Card Renewal Approved on H&C Grounds
A couple approached our office facing a serious challenge with their Permanent Resident (PR) card renewal. After several years abroad, they had accumulated only 9 months of physical presence in Canada, far below the 730-day residency requirement. Their case was flagged for review, and IRCC indicated that their application would be assessed based on Humanitarian and Compassionate (H&C) considerations.
They were understandably anxious, this renewal could determine whether they kept their PR status or risked losing their ability to build their future in Canada.
As their Immigration Consultant, we conducted a detailed assessment of their circumstances, gathered evidence supporting their H&C grounds, and prepared clear, organized submissions explaining why their residency shortfall occurred and why maintaining their PR status was justified in their situation.
Today, we accompanied and represented the couple at their in-person IRCC interview, ensuring their story was communicated accurately, compassionately, and confidently. We addressed the officerβs concerns with supporting documents, clarified the coupleβs intentions to re-establish themselves in Canada, and reinforced the compelling compassionate factors relevant to their case.
π Outcome:
Despite their significant residency shortfall, IRCC accepted the H&C grounds and approved the renewal.
The couple received a 5-year PR card, a truly exceptional result given the circumstances.
This case highlights the importance of strong preparation, strategic representation, and a deep understanding of H&C considerations in residency obligation cases. Most importantly, it demonstrates that even complex PR renewal applications can succeed with the right guidance.
If you have concerns about meeting residency requirements or face an upcoming IRCC interview, we are here to help you navigate the process with confidence and care.
