🎉 RVDA of BC is Celebrating 50 Years! 🎉

This year marks a major milestone as the Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of British Columbia celebrates 50 years of serving and supporting BC’s RV industry.

Since 1976, RVDA of BC has been proud to represent RV dealers, suppliers, service professionals, and industry partners across the province. As the first provincial RVDA association in Canada, we have spent five decades advocating for our members, promoting professionalism, supporting education and training, and helping grow the RV lifestyle that so many Canadians enjoy.

To celebrate this special anniversary, we invite our members, industry partners, past leaders, and friends to join us at our 50th Anniversary AGM & Golf Fundraiser at Harrison Hot Springs, August 26–28, 2026.

Together, we'll reflect on where we've been, celebrate the people who helped build our association, and look ahead to the next 50 years of innovation, collaboration, and adventure.

The RVDA of British Columbia extends our sincere condolences on the passing of Dale Hopkins. Dale was a respected leader whose dedication and integrity left a lasting impact on The RV industry across Canada. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time. 💙

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Dale Hopkins, past Chairman of RVDA of Canada, who passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2025.

Dale was a respected industry leader whose decades of service helped strengthen the RV sector across Canada. As Chairman of RVDA of Canada and President of RVDA of Alberta, he led with integrity, optimism, and a genuine commitment to people. His impact was felt far beyond boardrooms — through mentorship, collaboration, and a deep care for the industry and its future.

Our heartfelt condolences are with Dale’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM at Connelly-McKinley St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Garry Bewernick on September 19, 2025, at the age of 71.

Garry’s presence lit up every room he entered—his humour, stories, and generosity touched countless lives. A true leader in the RV industry, Garry grew Atlas Trailer Coach Products into a national success and created opportunities that shaped the aftermarket sector across Canada.

Beyond business, Garry was known for his selfless contributions to his community, church, and youth ministries. He also gave generously to the RV industry itself—donating equipment to cultivate and support RV Service Technician training across Canada. His legacy of compassion, integrity, and service will be remembered for generations.

Our thoughts are with his wife Beverly, his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and all those who loved him. He will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of Garry’s Life will be held on October 15, 2025, at Centre Street Church in Calgary, AB.
