The F1 Viewing Party brought motorsport enthusiasts together for an exciting day filled with high-energy race action, great conversations, and a shared passion for Formula 1.

Simon Fraser University has announced a historic $40 million donation from the Stephens family, led by Ratana Stephens and Arran Stephens, in support of its new medical school. The gift is the largest single donation in SFU’s history and one of the most significant contributions ever made to a Canadian medical school.

In recognition of this landmark contribution, the institution will be renamed the SFU Stephens Family School of Medicine.
This extraordinary investment will help shape the next generation of healthcare professionals, strengthen medical education, and contribute to a healthier future for communities across British Columbia and beyond.

The Consulate General of India, Vancouver recently hosted its Annual Media Reception aboard the Burrard Queen, bringing together media representatives from across the Lower Mainland for an evening of interaction, insight, and collaboration.

During the event, Consul General H.E. Masakui Rungsung expressed appreciation for the media's important role in promoting awareness and understanding of the evolving India–Canada relationship. He also shared updates on the Consulate’s key initiatives and activities over the past year, highlighting efforts in cultural outreach, economic engagement, educational cooperation, and people-to-people connections.

A special presentation showcasing India–Canada relations and the Consulate’s work further reflected the growing opportunities for partnership and collaboration between the two countries.
