guess who's back?!

I haven't been present on my socials for a while now, &
As you know, I'm a super transparent no BS lover, so to say where have I been

Covid slowed things down, took away socializing & 'normality', then sped things waaay up playing endless catchup, -insert MAD denial of burnout
& then the universe threw me a pregnancy shocker (legit when she has a plan - SHE HAS A PLAN!) & now with a babe, just navigating a new hat, it has been a wild adjustment.

motherhood isn't a one size fits all

I was drowning in all the to-dos, comparing us to all the 'SM moms' who have it together looking all cute taking perfect photos daily, getting hit with SAD, drowning in emails msgs DMs, endless cleaning & organizing, running my brains of future what-ifs & now mom guilts, forms of pre & post-partum depressions, questioning my path in life overthinking all the things, and then add in the pressures of showing up on socials looking human in a perfectly positioned photo. Guilts & Regrets.

Energy was null, running on fumes & cold coffee gut rots. Even though every day was different, I felt an inner disassociation within. A battle of knowing what's up but not being able to shake it.
-
2021 til now has very well blended & disappeared, & while 2023 has just begun, it's taking me some sweet time to feel my flow & find my footing. I'm moving to a newer way of intentional living & staying present, thankful every day for my journey thus far.

& hotdamn do I have a load of gorgeous humans to still share with you!

so as I continually rebuild my mental health, reawaken my selfbeing, & shift myself to a newer path (& reinvent my brand), you'll see me much more present on here

He's officially happy to be home from the hospital after 5 days

*Happy Father's Day indeed!
weighing 8lbs

River was our first and only name selected.
It is beautifully symbolic to us and extra special just like him.
We are water lovers, I lived on the Vedder river growing up in Chilliwack, & top it off we also got married there in my backyard before it was torn down by the city to expand the Vedder Bridge to Cultus.

Lawrence was our dash of love in ode to my late father Larry Doiron, whom we lost to Cancer just a few years ago.

This bundle of sweetness has stolen my heart in ways I never thought imaginable & It is all surreal still.

Fast & Furious delivery, we were safe with the most amazing team of nurses and specialists here at Surrey Memorial Hospital, and of course owe many thanks to our wonderful Midwife Bridget Mensah who has been with us since the beginning.
(& don't worry babe is healthy, just very fast breathing so monitoring)
but his negative blood mixed with my positive blood at high levels so we were going through some extra special attention since it was unheard of (we are famous now for that)

We are taking the next weeks easy soaking up our handsome wonderwall boy, getting settled at home, & getting my body & health dialed in.

my (verrrrry extended) break from media has been difficult but at the same time ultra rewarding for my mental health and building a tiny human.
Energy had to be reserved after the two year Covid burnout. Truly the last 10 months have hit me hard.

but I'm bouncing back slowly on here!
