From packed day rooms to TVs in residents’ suites, the excitement is being felt across Baillie House.

“My grandkids would be shocked. I’m watching soccer and loving it,” said Gordon Stone. “I love cheering for Canada.”

Great news for Delta and surrounding communities!🏥

An $18-million project will bring a new MRI scanner to the hospital, expanding access to vital diagnostic imaging services.

✨ The new MRI unit is expected to support between 7,500 and 10,000 MRI exams annually, helping reduce wait times and supporting earlier diagnosis for conditions including cancer, neurological conditions and injuries.

💗 A heartfelt thank you to the Delta Hospital and Community Health Foundation and its generous donors for helping make this important investment in care closer to home possible.

Construction is underway, with the new MRI service expected to be complete in December 2028.
