For contractors, suppliers, and project teams, delayed payments have long impacted timelines, cash flow, coordination, and overall project momentum. This legislation is designed to create clearer payment timelines and a faster path for resolving disputes across the industry.

While the Act is not fully in force yet, it marks an important step toward improving accountability and consistency in how construction projects are managed financially in British Columbia. 🤝
