🍁 Canada Immigration News | June 8, 2026
Big announcements this week — here's what matters most! 👇
🤖 BREAKING — Canada Launches 20-Day AI Work Permit!
Canada announced plans to fast-track work permits for AI professionals in just 20 business days, as part of PM Carney's newly launched national AI strategy, "AI for All." The pathway runs through the Global Talent Stream and targets AI engineers, data scientists & software professionals.
✅ After 12 months of Canadian work experience, AI workers become eligible for the CEC and STEM Express Entry draws — a direct route to PR.
💡 Know someone in AI or tech? This is a MASSIVE opportunity. Share this with them! Canada ImmigrationImmigration News Canada
🏔️ BC PNP — Rural Health Support Stream: Full Details Out!
BC's Temporary Rural/Remote Health Support initiative opens June 15 and closes August 31, 2026. Only three occupations are eligible: security guards, light-duty cleaners, and janitors/caretakers — all must work for a BC public health authority in a rural or remote location.
⚠️ BC PNP's 2026 nomination allocation is just 5,254 — down 34% from 8,000 in 2024. Spaces are extremely limited. If you qualify, register early! CIC TIMESAmir Ismail And Associates
📊 BC PNP — June Draw Results
The latest BC PNP draw issued 342 invitations across Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur streams. The minimum score was 89 points for skilled workers and 97 points for international graduates. Healthcare, tech, childcare & construction were the priority sectors. Immigration News Canada
Deadlines & Draw Predictions
🍁 Canada Immigration Update | June 8, 2026
⏰ Deadlines are closing fast — don't miss these!
🚨 3 DEADLINES YOU CANNOT MISS THIS MONTH:
📌 June 14 — 6 days left!
A federal consultation that will shape three years of immigration targets is closing in the first half of the month. Submit your input on Canada's 2027–2029 Immigration Levels Plan at Canada.ca NOW — once it closes, it's gone! CIC News
📌 June 27 — 19 days left!
The temporary policy that gave thousands of foreign workers the right to study without a study permit is expiring before the month ends. If this applies to you — apply for your study permit IMMEDIATELY. CIC News
📌 June 30 — 22 days left!
Start-Up Visa PR applications with a valid 2025 commitment certificate must be submitted by June 30. No extensions will be granted. This program is closing for good!
📉 EXPRESS ENTRY — Draw Pace Slowing
IRCC has issued nearly 80,000 Express Entry invitations in the first five months of 2026 — that total is just 19,062 short of the full-year 2024 figure with 7 months still remaining. Draws are decelerating. If the biweekly rhythm returns, expect CEC (CRS 514–518) or French (~409) rounds next. STEM candidates — still zero draws in 2026. Explore French, Healthcare, or PNP pathways NOW. Immigration News Canada
💡 Bottom line: The window to act is closing on multiple fronts. Don't wait for the perfect draw — let's map YOUR fastest route to Canadian PR today!

🍁 Canada Immigration News | June 4, 2026
Big headlines today — here's what every immigration applicant needs to know! 👇
🔴 BREAKING — Economy & Immigration
PM Mark Carney has acknowledged that reduced immigration targets are partly behind Canada's economic slowdown after two consecutive quarters of GDP contraction. Canada recorded Q4 2025 at -1.0% and Q1 2026 at -0.1% annualized — though per capita GDP actually rose +0.9% as population growth slowed. Economists remain divided on what this means for future immigration levels. Watch this space! Striveimmigration
🟢 GOOD NEWS — Processing Times Improve!
IRCC's June 3 update shows work permits are down one week for India & US submissions, and super visas improved by 10 days for US applicants. If you've been waiting — your application may be moving faster than expected! 🙌 Immigration News Canada
🔵 MAJOR POLICY SHIFT — Now in Effect
Effective June 1, 2026, IRCC implemented sweeping changes to visitor visas, work permits, and student pathways — the most significant temporary residence overhaul since the post-pandemic surge. Review your status before submitting any new application! Amir Ismail And Associates
🟡 ⏰ URGENT — 10 Days Left!
The public consultation on Canada's 2027–2029 Immigration Levels Plan closes June 14. Key targets include capping temporary residents below 5% of Canada's population by 2027, and growing Francophone immigration to 12% by 2029. Submit your input at Canada.ca before it's gone! Moving2Canada
🟣 EXPRESS ENTRY — Draw Watch
Draw #419 expected ~June 8. Most likely rounds: Healthcare (CRS 460–480), Trades (CRS 470–490), or French (~CRS 409). STEM candidates — still no dedicated draw in 2026. Explore alternative pathways now — book a free consultation with us!
⚠️ REMINDER — June 27 Deadline
IRCC's temporary policy allowing work permit holders to study without a separate study permit expires June 27, 2026. If this applies to you — act NOW to get your study permit in order! CIC News

🍁 Canada Immigration News Update | June 3, 2026
Big week for Canadian immigration — here's everything you need to know before your next move! 👇
✈️ EXPRESS ENTRY — DRAW WATCH 30 draws in 2026 have already issued 79,841 ITAs! The next draw is predicted around June 8 with CEC cutoffs expected between 516–525. French-language draws remain the strongest pathway with the lowest CRS cutoffs — if you speak French, now is the time to act!
🌏 NEW — eTA for Indonesia & Malaysia Effective May 26, eligible citizens of Indonesia and Malaysia can now apply for a $7 eTA instead of a full visa to fly to Canada. ✅ Held a Canadian TRV in the last 10 years? You qualify. ✅ Hold a valid US non-immigrant visa? You qualify. Share this with anyone you know from these countries planning to visit Canada!
🏔️ BC PNP — Major Program Changes BC has removed the Entry Level & Semi-Skilled (ELSS) stream, raised minimum income thresholds to 2024 LICO levels, and added new ineligible NOCs. ⚠️ These changes apply to applications filed after June 13, 2026. BC is also opening registration on June 15 for a Rural Health Support initiative targeting 250 healthcare workers in 36 occupations.
💻 STEM CANDIDATES — Urgent Alert Despite a revised STEM occupation list for 2026, there has been zero STEM category draws all year — the longest drought on record. If you're in a STEM field, don't wait. Explore French language, Healthcare, or PNP pathways now. 📞 Book a free consultation and let's map your best route to Canada PR!
⏰ DEADLINE ALERT — June 30 Start-Up Visa applicants with a valid 2025 commitment certificate must submit their PR application by June 30, 2026. After this date, the program closes. A new entrepreneur pilot is expected to launch later in 2026.
📣 Have your say — Consultation closes June 14! IRCC is gathering public input on Canada's 2027–2029 Immigration Levels Plan — this will shape PR targets, Francophone goals, and temporary resident caps for the next 3 years. Submit your feedback at Canada.ca before it's too late!
