TCP is looking for Delivery drivers for the Greater Vancouver Area

Who:

We are looking for Applicants with delivery experience to help deliver full routes in the Greater Vancouver Area!

The job:

Shifts will start at either 8:45am or 10:45am and finish once your route is completed. These shifts run from Monday to Friday with an average of 40 hours per week. While at the warehouse, you will scan and load packages. A lead driver will also be available in warehouse to help aid. Delivery drivers will be in constant communication with dispatchers; reporting all daily events.

Pay is $20 hourly with a 3 month evaluation that can increase pay to $21 hourly

All vehicle expenses including gas, insurance and maintenance are paid by the company.
Requirements:

Physically capable of working up to 12 hours daily
Comfortable getting in and out of a van multiple times a day.
Are reliable and available for full-time work.
Are tech-savvy and have a smartphone with a data plan.
Are 21 years of age or older.
Have a valid BC Class 5 driver's license and clean driver abstract.
No driver's license suspensions within the previous five years.
No DUI/DWI within five previous years.
Can pass a criminal background check.
Excellent communication skills
Strong team building skills
Preferred:

A strong driving or courier background with more than one year's experience in the region.
The ability and willingness to change a tire when needed.
A strong customer service background.
An outgoing, friendly, cooperative personality.

A Telecommunications Tech will deliver exceptional customer experiences and installations for Satellite TV, IPTV, Internet and Phone Service in customer’s homes and businesses. This is a technical position so you will be installing or trouble shooting installations.

With this opportunity, We will be selecting applicants who will:

-Drive to and from end-user locations in a general area,

-Operate equipment and a vehicle, tools and ladders in a safe and responsible manner

-Relate with customers in a professional and polite manner

-Provide an extremely high level of customer service

-Be Comfortable with using handheld tools and working at heights

-Ensure all equipment are kept in excellent condition

-Remain safety conscious and able to adhere to a intensely structured safety program

This is NOT a tech support over the phone position. You will be climbing ladders, pulling wire and installing Fibre Optic, Copper lines to supply TV, Internet, phone and satellite dish service.

Requirements:

-Prior experience in telecommunications and/or working in the field
-independently is an asset

-Prior experience in a customer-facing customer service role is an asset

-A strong technical understanding and general interest in the field
-
Must be comfortable with computers, and able to handle various Windows-based applications

-Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English
completion of a criminal background check

-Must have or be able to obtain a work vehicle with a ladder rack.
Maintain a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license and able to provide a driver’s abstract

-Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions

-Must be technically inclined and have a desire to learn

-Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal direction

-Follows outlined safety protocols and procedures and wears all appropriate safety equipment
