Caught one of the races during The Cup at Hastings Racecourse, Vancouver’s annual trackside event that mixes horse racing with a full day of music, fashion, and crowds.

Multiple races run throughout the afternoon, and this one came down tight along the rail.

Caught the Canadian Forces Snowbirds flying over English Bay during the Honda Celebration of Light, ahead of Spain’s fireworks night. 🇪🇸

The team flies tight formation passes in CT-114 Tutor jets, and moments like this vertical climb line up perfectly when the timing works out.

📸 Burnaby Lake Overpass at Blue Hour 🌉✨

Spent some time shooting the new overpass at Burnaby Lake Regional Park, now open and connecting the trails across Highway 1.

The lighting on this thing really stands out after sunset. The cables, symmetry, and color give it a completely different feel once the sky drops into that deep blue.

From above, traffic turns into streaks of light, which adds just enough movement to balance out the stillness of the structure.

Simple spot, but it works. 📷

Visited Shannon Falls this Father’s Day, one of British Columbia’s tallest waterfalls at an impressive 335 meters (1,099 ft) high. 💦Located just south of Squamish, it’s the third-highest waterfall in BC.

The falls are fed by snowmelt from Mount Habrich, Mount Sky Pilot, and the surrounding alpine peaks. The sound, the mist, and the raw energy of the water make it one of the most powerful scenes to witness - especially through the lens. 🔍

It’s always worth the stop, and the shots from the trail don’t disappoint.
