2019 AQHA Red Dun Mare Little Frozen “Annie”

Sired by 5 Million Dollar sire SG Frozen Enterprize and out of NRHA Earning daughter of Wimpys Little Step who has produced $25,000 Reined Cow Horse earnings, and is the dam to Freckles Little Sun who was piloted by Melody Andrews Performance Horses to win Canada’s Greatest Cowgirl.

Annie is the newest addition here at the ranch but I’ve been following her for years. She is open for 2026 and I’m excited to choose the perfect cross for her for her 2027 foaling year.

Miss Little Gunna X Shining In Town

Hallie is sired by Gunners Peppy Oak and out of a Topsail Whiz daughter, Little Miss Whizzer who is an NRHA earner and NRHA producer of over $110,000.

Shining In Town (LTE $226,324) is sired by Hollywoodstinseltown and out a daughter of Shining Spark, Shine Ann who has produced over $300,000 to date.

My least favourite part about breeding horses, choosing registered names. In the past fellow breeders and owners have come up with some great names so open to suggestions on a name for this fancy boy!

I like catchy names, doesn’t have to have any specific pedigree mentions in the name either.

“Reed” AQHA bay c**t sired by Spooks Big Bang (LTE $52,000+) and out of Shiny Hollywood who is sired by Hollywoodstinseltown out of a Shining Spark daughter, making this mare very closely bred to Shining In Town.

This c**t is GORGEOUS and correct in every way, I’m excited to watch this gorgeous c**t mature. He is just as sweet as he is beautiful as well.

Ended up with only two foals this year but they are both perfect ❤️

“Reid” bay c**t sired by Spooks Big Bang and out of Shiny Hollywood (Hollywoodstinsletown X Shining Spark) who is very closely bred to Shining In Town! This is a repeat cross. We loved how this cross looked last year so we decided to repeat it.

Eighteen years ago, I had a crazy idea to own reining horses after experiencing my first reining show. I was just barely an adult with very little knowledge about AQHA horses, let alone Reiners, but I was passionate and determined. A few years later, I purchased a few nice mares, including the dam to Archer, and since then, I have devoted an immense amount of time to learning and striving for continuous improvement but this wouldn’t have been possible without everyone who helped me along the way.

Many people contributed to making this dream a reality; I am just a small part of it all. I wouldn’t be here without their support, and I am deeply humbled by everyone who believed in me and allowed me to pursue something so near and dear to me. Everyone who trusted me to purchase their horses, the stallion owners who had faith in my mares and provided me with opportunities, the trainers who generously took the time to help me learn, all the fellow breeders who were always open to sharing their insights, and all the buyers and clients over the years who made it possible for me to continue doing what I love. And of course to my friends and family for the unwavering support and understanding.

Lastly, I want to express my gratitude to Dusty and Sage. Sage, thank you for your hard work, dedication, and talent. It requires immense effort and skill to train and showcase horses, especially with less than two weeks of preparation, yet you made it seem effortless. Dusty, thank you for believing in me and my horses, for your time, hard work , and commitment to Archer. You have been one of my greatest supporters, and I will always be grateful to you; your support means more to me than I can ever put into words.
