CORRECTIVE PMU TRANSFORMATION
This was a challenging correction case with multiple layers of previous permanent makeup.
The original microblading had aged into a blue tone and was heavily saturated. A later cover-up added a warm pink/orange powder brow over the top without adequately correcting the existing pigment, creating uneven color and a muddy appearance.
My professional recommendation was removal before new PMU. However, the client chose not to undergo removal and wanted to improve the brows with corrective work instead.
While removal would have provided the cleanest canvas and best long-term result, I focused on creating the most balanced improvement possible by refining the shape, adjusting the color, and reducing the visual impact of the old pigment.
Is it perfect? No. Is it a significant improvement from where we started? Absolutely.
Sometimes corrective PMU isn't about achieving a flawless new set in one appointment—it's about making the best possible improvement while respecting the client's goals and limitations.

Old Microblading Correction with True Dot

Many old microblading brows fade into unwanted shades of green, blue, red, pink, or orange over time. Some even develop multiple colors from previous cover-up work, along with blurry or fuzzy borders.

This client had a noticeable greenish border and uneven color. Using the True Dot technique, I corrected the unwanted tones and also softened the overall brow color, making it appear lighter and more natural. The improvement is already visible after the first session. Because the green border was quite bold, one more touch-up may be needed for the best result.
