Great to get out with the Sqn today for a little golf afternoon now that 5 RIFLES activation is complete.

Last night 105 Chieftains (and guests) played the RLC Chiefs for the first game of their tour of Canada. It was a fantastic opportunity for the 105 soldiers to see that Hockey is a viable sport outside of BATUS, and continue to raise the profile of this fantastic sport. The Chiefs were resounding winners 0-7. Let’s see how the Wksp Wolves (and guests) get on this evening.

105 Sqn had the privilege of hosting COMD CTG, Brigadier Wilson on Wed 23 Mar 22. Once again demonstrating how vital 105 Sqn are for the provision of all materiel to Exercising Troops in BATUS in addition to maintaining Fd Army aims globally.

Yesterday, 105 Log Sp Sqn had a privilege to host Col C Thomas LWC CTETP on his visit to BATUS. The purpose of this visit is familiarisation of Project PARITER.

Yesterday evening 105 Sqn said farewell to two members of our small family. Sel Sgt Jones and LCpl Jawara are leaving us for pastures new. We wish them all the best for the future, they have been an absolute pleasure to work alongside. Both will be missed.
9 Regt and 1 Regt respectively are gaining two fantastic NCO’s.

Yesterday BATUS hosted its Inter Dept Basketball Competition. Thanks to Cpl Philoe for organising.
Great to see so many people taking part, after a hard fought final the Wksp Wolves beat the 105 Chieftains by two baskets to win the competition.

105 Sqn had their Christmas function last night. First time in 24 months we’ve managed to get the soldiers, DND staff and partners in a room together. Thank you so much for Paradise Valley Golf Course for hosting, Banger Bingo for providing some fantastic entertainment and SSgt Gurung and Sgt Philpot for organising.
A few weeks early but Merry Christmas 🎅 🇨🇦
