Sorry I haven't been posting anything lately. With having a new baby to add with my other two very busy kids it has been hard to get things done. I am working on some projects and hope to have them posted soon.

For those who don't have a fire place.

For those with kids you know they break the crayons. Rather then throwing them out use the crayon sharpener that comes in the large crayon boxes and make a bunch of shavings. Take a piece of wax paper and sprinkle the crayon on top, then put another piece of wax paper on top. You will want to use towel because the crayon can leak out the side. Iron the wax paper. You will have a colourful page. It hardens in no time but be careful it can be quite hot at first. Then depending on the season cut out some shapes and hang them. If you hang them in a window they make really nice "stained glass" decorations.

These pumpkins are super easy to make and I used things that I already had around the house. The beams where left overs from the last person to live in our house. I painted them orange using the kids paint and used nails and some gift ribbon to add the "stem". You could always use black paint and add faces as well or a name.

Bought a gouge today for carving wood bowls. Can't wait! I will be starting my first bowl on Tuesday.

These are logs that otherwise would have been chipped or cut into firewood.

Well Greg has been so busy that we haven't been able to get the logs to the mill guy yet. And life keeps throwing us curve balls. But it is all good, just a little unexpected. But hope to have things going soon. Please keep watching I will be posting pics of completed projects soon.

So many ideas, not sure where to start!

Ok, so I was thinking that with this warm weather I would get some work done. Well.... not so much. I have been to friends houses and to the park letting my two kids enjoy this sunshine.

Can't wait to get started. Hoping to get a lot done with this warm weather that is coming.
