Fall Hours!

Starting this week, we will be returning to our regular hours being 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

Today, for Labour Day, we are open at 11 a.m. and closing at 7 p.m.!

In addition to our fall hours, we will also be having new fall menu items, so please stay tuned for upcoming menu announcements.

We look forward to seeing you all soon!

Usually we are open until 10 p.m. on Sunday nights but due to the rainy weather, we will be closing early for the evening!

The Cool Cucumber is hiring! 🍦

We are looking to hire 1 or 2 individuals, who are able to work primarily our opening / day shifts, approximately 3-4 times per week, as well as an occasional closing / evening shift. This is a year-round position (not seasonal)!

The ideal candidate would have the following competencies:

- You are able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- You are a self-starter, who requires little-to-no prompting to complete tasks such as cleaning, organizing and other tasks.
- You have prior experience working in a customer service role, specifically in restaurants and food service.
- You are friendly, excitable, and happy to serve customers with a smile!
- You are able to lift up to (and sometimes above) 25 lbs, and work in consistently cooler temperatures.
- You have a valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate, or are willing to complete the course.

Whilst we are happy to accept resumes from all candidates, please note that we are hoping to hire individuals who are currently completing their post-secondary education, in an effort to provide them with valuable experience that they can use in their future careers.

Coming soon to the Cool Cucumber - our new “Coolwich” ice cream cookie sandwich! A delicious treat that can be assembled by our customers, right in store! Start by choosing which flavour of hard or soft ice cream 🍨 you would like it filled with and then choose one (or more) of our delicious toppings to roll it in!

We are still working on pricing, but please stay tuned for when you can build your very own “Coolwich”.
