Weekly report out of Port Glasgow.

Fishing continues to be nothing short of stellar. There is tonnes of fish being caught from 55 -70fow.

Dipsys back 85-110, riggers down 42-48, 4-7 core and hooligans back 125 were the best rods. The best speed has been 2.5-2.7.

Yaleye Fish Lures and Triple Threat Lures continue to be the baits of choice. Please see pic below of hot bait colours.

Good morning.

Just letting everyone know that we will be closed this weekend starting today.

Weekly report for week of July 13.

Walleye fishing continues to be hot out of Port Glasgow.

Fish are being caught from 52-67fow trolling 2.5-2.7 mph.

3-5 colour lead core is producing fish after fish. Dipsys back 57-73 and riggers down 27-43 are also killing it. Hooligans back 105-145 are also getting lots of nice walleye and the odd rainbow!

There’s still lots of fish high in the water column. Don’t be afraid to target these fish! Attached is a pic of the hot lures this week!

Looks like a great weekend coming up to get out and catch a limit. Get out there and get em!

Here’s our weekly report:

Last week on Lake Erie out of Port Glasgow was hot! Every trip by Tangled Up Sportfishing yielded limits of Lake Erie gold. There also seems to be a lot more trout being caught this year than the last couple.

Walleye fishing has been great from 55-70 fow. A lot of walleye are still up high in the water column from 10-30 ft down. Dipsys back 69-105 have still been good The 4 core has been on fire. It’s been hard to keep that rod in the water.

The best rainbow fishing has been 66-69 ft with baits down 5-25 ft. Bright colours have been hot.

Yaleye Fish Lures body baits and worm harnesses, along with Triple Threat Lures spoons have been money.

Fishing has been hot out of Port Glasgow. The best fishing has been from 55-58 fow.
Dipsys back from 87-110ft back have been good with a work harness, spoons or body baits.

Leadcore has also been producing very well. From 2-5 colour has been best trolling between 2.3-2.6mph. Hooligans back 125-150 have also been producing lots of fish!

Out best lures have been Yaleye Fish Lures worm harnesses, lil’ wreckers, hooligans and mooneyes. Triple Threat Lures spoons have also been doing very well.

I’ve attached a pic of the lures that they’ve been catching the majority of our fish on.
