This special session runs just like a regular StrawBubs class, filled with all the music, props, and playful fun your little ones love. But this time, we’ll be joined by the wonderful elders at Sprucedale Care Centre seated in a welcoming circle around us.

Intergenerational music is a truly magical experience......it brings different generations together to share joy, rhythm, and connection. It’s a beautiful way to build community, spark smiles, and create meaningful moments for everyone involved!

This session is open to anyone to wants to come and join in the fun free of charge (generously funded by Sprucedale Care Centre) : )

🎭✨TWO exciting opportunities to try StrawBubs Performers Club (SPC) before the Fall term begins!✨🎭

Does your child love to sing, dance, perform, imagine, or put on little shows at home? SPC is a warm, welcoming performing arts program where children can build confidence, creativity, and self-expression through a mix of singing, drama, dance, and performance fun!

At SPC, we focus on helping children:

Here are TWO ways to come and see if SPC is the right fit for your little performer before September:

🎭 OPTION 1 — 4-Week Mini Block
For children born in 2021 & 2022
(Entering JK & SK in September)

This smaller 4-week series is designed especially for younger children, giving them extra time to settle into the class environment, build confidence, and truly explore the program at their own pace.

🎭 Student Assistant Wanted – StrawBubs Performers Club 🎤✨

I’m looking for an enthusiastic and confident student assistant to help with my StrawBubs Performers Club program for four weeks in June on Tuesday evenings from 5:30–6:10pm (40-minute class).

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves working with children and has a passion for the performing arts!

I’m ideally looking for a “triple threat” student with experience in:
✔ Singing
✔ Acting
✔ Dancing

(Strong skills in 2 out of the 3 are absolutely welcome!)

The role includes:
✨ Assisting during classes with drama games, singing exercises and dancing
✨ Encouraging and engaging young performers
✨ Helping to settle nervous children
✨ Supporting a fun and positive class environment
✨ Being an energetic role model for children

Schedule:
📍 Tuesday evenings in June
📍 Potential ongoing position Monday evenings starting in the fall*

*This June role could also act as a training period for a potential ongoing assistant position in the fall for the right fit, with opportunities to take on more leadership and help lead activities independently with training and experience.

Ideal candidate:
🌟 Confident and outgoing with lots of personality
🌟 Responsible and reliable
🌟 Enjoys working with young children
🌟 Theatre, dance, choir, musical theatre, camp, or leadership experience is a huge asset
