Kiwanis - Come meet your new friends and help the community!

The Kiwanis Club of Stratford has many ways you can volunteer. We have the Kiwanis Festival of the Performing Arts, Christmas Food Baskets with CJCS Radio, Stratford Kiwanis Garlic Festival, and Summer Concerts in the Park.

Last year we donated over $200,000 for food security, the music festival, disaster relief, and supporting the community in many other ways. We are having a membership drive March 9th with a country and western vibe - live music and information on Kiwanis and how you can be part of it.

Kiwanis Club of Stratford - Home Kids need adults who care. That's why people join Kiwanis clubs. They're local groups of like-minded volunteers who make a difference. Friends. Neighbors. Anyone who loves serving together to change children's lives.

While not a computer post, I am pleased that my son fulfilled a dream of being on the bench for a professional hockey team. Today he stepped in as Equipment Manager for the Ottawa Charge.

Dear Friends and Clients:

I have decided that it is time to bring my Stratford Computer Tutor business to a close, effective immediately.

I have recently accepted a part time position as a faculty teaching coach at Conestoga College. I will be assisting new professors and instructors with their teaching methods.

I will be focusing on my new role at the college, as well as the volunteer work I do for the church, Camp Bimini and Kiwanis.

I enjoyed assisting clients with their computer needs but “retirement” has always been about saying “yes” to new opportunities and adventures.
