This illumination has been a concept of mine for over 6 months now and I was finally able to bring it to life in this piece! It consists of 4 layers of thick plexiglass, etched with a utility knife, and then painted with acrylic. I also built the walnut frame to house the work and LED lights. The design is based on the Isotropic Vector Matrix from the work of Buckminster Fuller. If you want to learn more, check out - also thanks to for the geometric reference!

I always love framing and hanging my paintings as it seems to add a whole new dimension!

Work in progress…playing with different backgrounds, prepping for a series of 3 paintings derived from Carl Jung’s concept of individuation. I’m still in the early stages but am excited about this project.

I was reminded this weekend about the importance of play and exploration in any creative endeavour. No expectations for a specific outcome, no over thinking…just breathing, moving and letting go. Thanks to for her wisdom and guidance through this growing process.

All set up!

Happening tomorrow!! Very excited to be showing some new work and getting to share space with many other wonderful artisans. 10am-4pm at Factory 163 in Stratford.
