Superior Projects

Lindsay got to be a special guest in her daughters kindergarten class for Community Helper day! The students got to learn from different people, their jobs, and how they help the community.

Lindsay shared all about the exciting projects we get to work on, got to show some photos, and answer pressing questions like:

• “How long does it take to build a hotel?”
• “What happens if it blows over?”
• “What happens if they put up the walls and forget to add windows??”
• “The kids live at school???” (when hearing about the dorms at our SBC project)

Concerns were mitigated, lots was learned, and everyone had fun 😅

We’ve often got our head down, working hard on these builds and it’s quite remarkable to be able to take a step back and look at our projects from a different angle, and see the surrounding community it impacts.

The Mitaanjigamiing First Nation Community Learning Centre is coming together very nicely!

Progress at SBC ⭐️

The mudding and taping is almost complete in the atrium, offices are getting painted, and the range hood is getting installed in the kitchen.

The exterior is also coming along nicely with our trades installing EIFS. The classrooms, dorms, and chapel are still in rough-in stage, with poly and installation beginning in the coming weeks.

We kicked off our renovation at .ca in early April and things are already moving along pretty quickly. This week we’re installing structural steel and hope to pour concrete in the coming weeks.

We’re adding a full second floor over the lobby with flexible space for small groups and staff offices. More space, more community 🙌
