Kiwi's litter is 5 weeks old now, they are getting the hang of playtime and eating solids. Fun and cute as can be and just love watching them grow!

Kiwi's pups are now 4 weeks old! Personalities are beginning to emerge and play has started. Today they had their first tastes of mush today. They are getting cuter and cuter each week.

We are so thrilled Miss Millie went to join her wonderful family today, her dad came to pick her up and was in love instantly. We are so excited to see her thrive with one of our past pups

Just wanted to update on Chip the little guy we kept from Scarlets litter, the vet initially thought he was born with an elongated palate.
We brought him to a specialist with the plans to repair, once they had him surgery it was discovered his palate is not elongated like initially thought. They actually couldn't find any abnormalities in his soft palate and could not see anything physical to explain the symptoms we've been seeing.

They think he just has an improper swallow and we've noticed his issues are all linked to how he swallows liquids. He always has to recover after drinking and it takes him awhile to sort it out.

So it's interesting, because in the end no repair was needed. He'll always have issues with kinda choking on water, but he's still a great little guy. He'll stay here as a pet, which is important as we have so many hard goodbyes in the job we do. It's nice to have some dogs that just stay no matter what.

So you'll probably see him in future videos playing with pups or just his antics, but I thought it would be a good idea to update just for those that were curious what we discovered with him.

Announcing Maples litter! She had two boys & one girl. Gemma & Ansel are chocolate & tan and Phineas is a traditional black & tan.
So thrilled they arrived healthy, mama and babies are doing great!

Beautiful miss Millie is 8 weeks old now! She's at that fun "land shark" phase, but at least she's cute right?
We are doing some ear training for those curious about the tape on her ears, the tape helps exercise the muscles at the base of the ear to hold the ears up in a new position. Puppies can sometimes get their ears up on their own, but we prefer to not leave it to chance and give their ears a helping hand to stand.
