The before and afters never disappoint!!! Finished our latest Squamish project - full house reno with a bedroom addition, and a 2 bedroom carriage house addition. A lot of work but it sure paid off!

The before and after posts are always fun, but the “during” is where all the magic happens. Another Squamish house reno + carriage house build coming along!

Here we go again! It’ll be a while before the “after” pictures come, but we’re definitely excited about starting this project!

New carriage house is taking shape! Corrugated metal siding is complete- just waiting on garage door and stone around chimney to get the exterior to 💯

For this bathroom vanity in this Squamish home, In the mirror you can see the shower was tiled with a 12×24 white tile from  which matches the vanity.  mats were installed in both bathrooms to keep those tootsies warm, especially during the frigid Squamish winters.

We took the single ensuite and turned it into two separate bathrooms by moving a few walls and slightly shrinking the master bedroom. In the new ensuite we used large format 24×48 tile from  to reduce grout lines and to give the bathroom a bigger feel. The black trim around the tile and shower glass match the vanity hardware and towel warmer to give a uniform look that makes the lighter colours pop a bit more.

The outside of this Squamish carriage house has bold contemporary roof lines. We used the same soffit material for the living room ceiling as we did under the roof and accent around the front door area. The siding is a hardy panel that gives it a modern look. This photo was before we painted a darker charcoal colour to contrast the wood and to match fairly closely to the black windows.

We tiled the entire main wall in the bathroom of this Lions Bay home and as well as wrapping the shower. In the shower, we installed a niche and used the same pebble mosaic tile that we used in the wet bar to add character. Black fixtures and hardware was used throughout the project.

The living room of this West Van home had 13′ ceilings and large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool. We built bulkheads around the ceiling to hide the rope lighting which gives the home and this room a very relaxing atmosphere. The fireplace was done similarly in the master bedroom where there is a nice contrast of white stone to the darker wood.

With this wet bar concept, we went with a river rock backsplash. The vanity was stained to match the rest of the woodwork in the log home to give it a cozy feel. We dropped in a round copper sink and wall mounted faucet for a nice clean look which blends the traditional look with some contemporary aspects.
