⚡This Circuit Training class features a blend of various work out styles that combine building strength, cardio and flexibility which can be modified for any and ALL fitness levels, with music to keep you bumping along!

For this class, we will be incorporating small weights of 1-10lb depending on your comfort level. Please bring 2 weights if you have them, otherwise we have some to provide as well.

✨🤍Maya Abdominal Therapy🤍✨

Maya Abdominal Therapy as taught by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, is a series of non-invasive, external, visceral massage techniques to the abdomen, low back and hip areas of the body that targets the physical stress and build up in the muscles and tissues to release and encourage an overall state of internal health and balance.

💫This massage is effective for both men and women. The technique works by relieving congestion and blockages to improve the flow of Chi and fluids of the circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous systems to prevent the progression of chronic disease symptomology and is often used to aid in fertility.

Massage techniques are performed on the upper and lower stomach, lumbar and sacral area, and buttocks, to align and restore balance within the abdominal core.

🤍MAYA ABDOMINAL MASSAGE should be modified or avoided altogether if you have an IUD, are taking pain medications or other substances, have recently had abdominal surgery, or are within your first 20-weeks of pregnancy. Receiving treatment during your period is also not recommended. As always, it's best to discuss any possible contraindications with your provider first.

We are excited to welcome Karin to The Healing Ranch team!

Karin is a Registered Massage Therapist and Manual Osteopathic Practitioner with 10 years of experience in bodywork and wellness. Her professional training began in 2013 with two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings and Reiki level I & II, followed by Reiki Master training in 2016.

She completed a 2200-hour Diploma in Massage Therapy at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2018 and has since developed a diverse practice incorporating therapeutic massage, TMJ and intraoral massage, CranioSacral Therapy, Myofascial Release, Maya Abdominal Massage, lymphatic drainage, myofascial cupping, and Spinal Flow® Technique.

Karin holds a Diploma in Manual Osteopathy and a BA in Psychology with Distinction. Her approach is informed by somatic and trauma-informed principles, with an emphasis on creating a safe, respectful, and individualized treatment experience.

In addition to her formal manual osteopathy education, Karin has pursued specialized training in John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, Upledger CranioSacral Therapy, Chikly Lymph Drainage Therapy, Maya Abdominal Massage (Rosita Arvigo), and visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute. She has also completed Somatic Stress Release® training with Dr. Scott Lyons and a workshop through the Hakomi Institute exploring a somatic approach to working with trauma.

Karin is a certified breathwork facilitator (David Elliott™), Meditation teacher (davidji), and is trained in Gong Yoga Therapy (Sound Healing) and Yoga Nidra. She enjoys integrating these complementary approaches to support mobility, nervous-system regulation, and overall well-being.

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys travelling, swimming, spending time in nature, and hosting women’s wellness retreats.
