🦷 Lets talk embrasures..... AKA the open triangle of space between your teeth as a result of gum and bone loss (from the periodontal disease process).
Some of us have them.... some of us do not....
🦷 Plaque removal is key in these frustrating places, and these can help! Pictured are a large, curved, advanced style, and if they are too large there is also a smaller, straight, original style.
🦷 If you have the space, and these fit, use them daily BEFORE flossing.
🦷 They will help clear food and plaque first, so flossing afterwards is so much more effective!
🦷 Unsure if you have embrasures or if you are a candidate to use these? Ask your Dental Hygienist at your next appointment.
🦷Thanks and for keeping these in stock for our patients!
🦷Can't wait until these are made biodegradable!!

Best floss sticks ever...Plackers TWIN-LINE.
Thank you Plackers These are my personal favorite.... not kidding. One wish is that Plackers makes them (or at least parts of them) biodegradable! Nothing more bittersweet then seeing a floss stick on the ground...happy people are flossing, but sad at the same time!
A bone of contention with dental professionals..... recommending regular floss or floss sticks?
I say it's important to use what you like! You will use it more instead of getting frustrated. Some floss sticks are horrible in my own teeth, lose slack, fray and/or get stuck. I've heard stories about clients having to use tweezers or scissors to remove the stuck pieces- YIKES!😭
Find the kind you like for your mouth.... there are a variety of brands....and keep trying! Watch your angle coming in and out of the contact and let your Dentist/ Dental Hygienist know if floss is always getting stuck or frayed in a certain area.
Next dental hygiene visit let your Hygienist know what you use. We can tell if you are using it effectively and make suggestions. If you have space between your gums and teeth, you likely need another product to work with floss to clean this area, just ask us at your next visit!
Follow up video showing the face shields from last post!
I'm sure more versions from other companies will come out soon but this might be a good try!!
