The cornerstone of the former St. John the Baptist Catholic Church was laid in 1894.

It opened the following year, serving the community of Springhill for 100+ years. A local investor is repurposing it to continue its tradition as a Springhill icon.

We're de-commissioning the oil-fired boiler (boiler and oil tanks will be posted later on, but you can inbox us now if you want them). We'll start out selling the cast iron radiators. There are about 2 dozen of them, ranging in length from ~34" to ~100". Prices range from $100 for smaller ones to $200 for the really long ones. You'll have to detach and carry them yourself. Big ones must be brutally heavy.

If someone would like to do our lawn care this summer, please inbox us. It's a bit overgrown right now; so, the first cut is going to be a bit harder. We had a couple people who expressed interest over the winter, but I don't recall who they were.
It's a very big lot.

Before we commence the full-scale renovation to convert the building into housing, we will need to remove the beautiful old organ. It was built by the famous Canadian organ company Casavant Brothers from Quebec.

If we can sell it in its entirety, that would be great, especially if it can be used in another house of worship. Failing that, we'll look into the feasibility of dismantling it and selling the pipes and other pieces as souvenirs to people who want some memorabilia from the former church.

Inbox us if you have any ideas or interest. Thank you.
