The Bilge Studio will not be having Open Studio on Fridays during the month of June. I am away until July. The studio will still be hosting Twisted Saturday on June 27th from 1:30 until 3 pm. June Cable will be organizing it.

Bilge Studio will be having open studio today from 12 until 4. If you haven’t been in the Bilge for a long time, stop by and see what we did to it.
Also, we will be out in front of the hotel from 1-3 showing off our collection of Blue Magic- indigo dyed upcycled clothes.

Show and tell this week is a basket of fall leaves preserved in glycerine and water. I have glycerine if you want to try it. Just bring some leaves.
Also, if anyone is interested in learning how to make a rag quilt let me know.

This suitcoat was made in Canada by Shipley. It is 100 % wool and came from a thrift store- perhaps here in . It is beautifully made, with 3 inside pockets and 2 outside pockets- deep enough that your phone won't fall out. It truly deserves another chance! The needlework on the back also came from a thrift store. It has been hanging around my studio for a long time waiting for a new home. Square off the bottom, shorten the sleeves and you have a beautiful one of a kind wool jacket.
