The phrase "No good deed goes unpunished" well it back fired for me...
Last week wed afternoon was heading home.. someone hit and killed a deer it was just out of corner on center line in my lane so parked at pull out, went waited in ditch till clear so could remove it for others..a school bus stopped so could remove it well my right foot slipped as climbing up just bout face planted into highway at same time felt like I was hit by a flying baseball into my calf muscles few choice words where said collected stuff fell out of hoodie and as I hobbled to remove deer and back to truck with alot morre choice words... Then had weekend flagging course well leg definitely was really swollen from knee to ankle.. Colin had to help get my shoe and sock off Sunday when got home..Just bout month after i had pulled Hamstrings in my left leg ugh...But Resertified for another 3 years :)
Hopefully be back to normal soon my bike is looking lonely 🙁 🥺

FYI to anyone traveling pass kitwanga to Terrace highway is CLOSED due to mvi next update Dec5 7am.. so park in Smithers /Hazelton area as Kitwanga will be probably full ..
Smithers there's frontage road from Babine to Mall area, Chevron card lock, welcome to smithers pull out and by A&W plus that frontage road. Also the inspection area between Telkwa and Smithers.

Don't park on side road in Carmack to run over to store for java....

Just an FYI if anyone traveling this coming Sunday April 21, There will be no power from Telkwa to Kitwanga. Have confirmation that Kitwanga Petro gas station does have a Generator they will be open and bulk pumps working.. so make sure you fuel in Houston,Terrace, Kitwanga petro and or Mez . I did see a sign that safeway will be open in smithers, so will be a hit miss on what's open for restaurants ect.

Was a beautiful day for a drive .. with hubby on an adventure..

Wtf.. railway should be held accountable for not doing their part to crack down on this .. transportation of stolen goods..
