I Recovered an old Artic cat skidoo seat.

The fibreglass threaded fire resistant covers done and installed. So glad to be done those lol. I can go back to hot showers now

Good day everyone, how is your end of November going?
As for me, I replaced zippers in a couple winter jackets; hemmed and patched a half a dozen pairs of pants; recovered a few Lodge and restaurant chairs, sewn a crest on a hat and recovered an old steping stool.
Put a new purchased cover on a small skidoo seat for a customer;
replaced a zipper slider on a bag and measured up a couple new projects.

Starting November 30 I won’t be excepting any new sewing repairs or Projects until Mid January 2026. So that I can get all my current work orders done.

When bringing your sewing repairs there is Plenty of markers if my burgundy Company marked Van isn’t in the driveway.
My house is the Black shingled roof with the #1104 on it along with My Company sign on the garage bay door and another company sign on the house door.
I’ve been having people call me looking to see if their repairs they dropped off are done, but they dropped it off at the neighbours.

I know it’s been awhile since I made a post of what I’ve been working on.
I have been Multi tasking working on a couple project at a time, as I’m still only able to work a maximum of 5-6 hrs a day due to the breast muscles are still healing
Not in order.
recovered gym equipment pieces,
Starting Vanderwell lodge board room chairs, also finishing the Landing restaurant chairs, making a Gazebo top, sewed a rope hem and put triangular support pieces for grommets in a 70 foot tarp, fixed a couple old vehicle seat covers customers took off and brought to me to fix.
Patched and altered a few coveralls
sewn named bars on the U18-2 hockey jerseys.
Altered a lace skirt-widening it on each side 2”.
 shortened staps on a few shirts and summer dreses, patched an old boat cover, recovered real old kitchen chairs. Patched and fixed a pocket on a winter jacket and put trouser clips on dress pants. Sewn straps for Atco electric,
Replaced webbing straps and hooks on SL helicopters engine cover. I altered a dozen gloves for a custom.

Well I know it’s been awhile since I made a post since going through breast cancer treatment. I had been slowly getting back to work only working a few hours a day since Finishing a week of aggressive radiation and managed to accomplished getting these projects done.
Recovered a couple quad seats and patched the broken plastic cracks on one of the plastic backs.
Hemmed up the legs on a few Forestry Uniform pants; recovered a few more restaurant chairs; recovered a set of patio cushions; made a custom cover for a cooler.
Finished the second Pontoon Boat seats; replaced a zipper in a bag; fixed a couple chains; patched a screen on a camping tent; made a Pontoon Boat Bimini Top, and just finished recovering a couple round chairs.
Hmmm I guess I got done more than I thought I did lol.
I even got a few craft projects done for my Moms memorial Service on July 25 weekend and prepping for a friends baby shower.
Good thing I am 90% healed now I can get even more done lol.

Omg what a crazy 8 months.
Finding out and dealing with breast cancer and going to appointment while trying to finish custom cover orders, only able to work a few hours a day, but I am finally done a majority of my orders Thank goodness as I start a week of an aggressive radiation the first week of June.

I am still working on a few custom cover orders and sewing repairs before I go. So please except my deepest apologies for the long delay in completing your orders. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. Once I’m done with all this cancer crap I will do a give away draw as a thank you to you all.

Ok everyone, great news. My Oncologist said she removed all the cancer and tests came back it DID NOT spread to my Lymph nodes.
but I will still have to do a bit of radiation starting in May.
Well this is great news for me and my family, I found out a good friend of mine is fighting her own battle with Cancer. I put together a basket of pink items to celebrate my great news, but I will be using it as a fundraiser to raise money for my friends Cancer fight.

I’d like to apologize to all my industrial covers customers for taking so long in completing your work orders. For health reasons I haven’t been able to work as many hours in a day as I like to. I have stage 1 breast cancer and am limited to what I can do at the moment. I go in Friday for a lumpectomy which will put me completely out of commission for at least two weeks.
