Norfolk Has Talent - Talent Folk | Eric Pond Designs

Tina Gates: Tina is a lifelong resident of Norfolk County and is happily married with three beautiful daughters. Her love of the arts and performing began at a very young age, largely inspired by her parents, who taught her to sing. For many years, singing was a family tradition, and her family was affectionately referred to by some friends and family as the “Von Trapp family”!
As a child, she was a member of Simcoe Little Theatre, performing in productions of Annie and The Music Man, and continued performing in numerous elementary and secondary school productions throughout her youth.
More recently, she returned to the stage as Reverend Mother Regina in Nunsense and Nunsense 2 at Backstage Capital. She also performed in Race Day and White Christmas with Simcoe Little Theatre.
Music has remained an important part of Tina’s lifte, and she has been involved with several ladies’ singing groups over the years. She’s currently a member of KT’s Crew, where they continue to share their love of music by performing at festivals and community events throughout the area.
For Tina, performing has always been about the joy of music, theatre, community, and bringing people together.

Roselle Slaght: Music is Roselle's passion and comes in second only to the love she has for her family. An award winning vocalist with the Canadian Gospel Music Association, and 3 time winner of the Gospel and Duet categories of the Canadian Open Country Singing Contest, Roselle has also served as the Head Judge at the Northern Ontario Country Singing Contest for 8 years. Roselle has also performed in multiple community musicals/shows at the Lighthouse and Simcoe Little Theatre, most recently as the lead in Jessica's Fine Adventure. Roselle is a Social Worker and Clinical Manager at the NFHT and is a long-time resident of Norfolk County. Roselle says that she is looking forward to seeing and hearing all of the talent that the folks in Norfolk have to share!

Ashley Vanwynsberghe: Ashley is a proud mom to two wonderful daughters and a lifelong lover of all things creative. With a background in dance and theatre, performing and the arts have always been a big part of her life. She’s also a hairstylist who absolutely loves what she does and considers creativity a huge part of her everyday life. When she’s not behind the chair, you can usually find her painting, creating, or dreaming up her next project. She’s excited to be part of Norfolk Has Talent and can’t wait to see the creativity, passion, and talent that takes the stage!

Please note: The piece you audition with is the piece that will be in the Showcase if successful.
