oh hell yeah
Went “offroadin’” a lil bit (as Amber and I like to call it) there at the beginning but we figured her out ❤️ this is from the Hee-Haw Cancer Fundraiser a few weeks ago hosted by Dan Fewings. Got to sing a couple songs with my Amber Banks and this was one of them! “Delta Dawn” is a classic. Stay till the end to hear the room sing with us; such a beautiful magical feeling.

That’s a wrap on “Nice Work if You Can Get it”. Literally had so much fun with this cast, such an amazing group of people. I’m missing it all already 😭❤️
Billie truly was such an enjoyable character to play. I loved getting to play with accents (yes multiple, if you know you know!!!), and her spunky, sassy, self was a real treat to create. I loved getting into character each and every night, and I loved getting to interact with every other character genuinely as a result.
Also loved the comedy in this show; could NOT stop laughing with these folks every night at every little thing. Keeping a straight face and staying in character was actually so difficult each night — if you ever caught us smirking.. please know we were locking in extra hard.
Thank you to Janet and Joanne for trusting me with Billie, she was a brassy delight 🥹❤️

Talking about that fateful experience with meeting & ✨ Kenny vs Spenny is prolific in my friend group & it’s our niche thing that we all adore. So, went to their show at in 2023, bedazzled a jacket for funsies, and traded it for a Kenny shirt! Still the coolest experience ever, and one with permanent bragging rights.

Had an amazing time with my Amber last night at the first night of the Hee Haw Dinner & Variety show hosted by the ever joyous and kind, Dan Fewings. All proceeds go to South Coast Caring for Cancer Communities, and Norfolk Cancer and Support Resource program.
Amber and I did two songs, we finished with Delta Dawn (MAGIC) but we began with Brand New Key. Today would have been my mom’s 68th birthday. We sang this song in the car so much, and she always wanted me to sing it. Just never found the right time to do it till now. Some sort of sweet little kismet that it happened at that lovely little event last night, with many of my family friends in the room. Happy Birthday Mom, this one’s for you!!
By the way, there is still one more night of this event! If you can get tickets, getchur butts in ur finest plaids and straw hats, and mosey ur way on down ta’ Kerry’s St. James Eatery in Waterford ✨
