Selkirk Transit is pleased to announce NextStop: Selkirk's free youth (ages 12-21) transit pass with support from the Province of Manitoba.
Premier Wab Kinew, Mayor Larry Johannson, Council and of course Selkirk Transit staff were pleased to announce the program. With the Province's funding support, we are able to offer this program for our youth in Selkirk.
NextStop is more than just a free ride. It is about helping youth get to where they need to be, whether it is school, work, recreation or to meet at thier favorite hang out. This is an opportunity for the youth to gain independence while saving thier parents money.
Passes are available at LSRCSS, ESJH and the Civic office.
