Power to Weight

The Hyperdrive has a max 137w/kg vs 33 w/kg (emtb) power to weight ratio. This means that although the system may be heavier than others it produces a lot more power for its weight. In all motorized racing , the power to weight is the important performance figure.

Total Rider Control

Our throttle activated power puts the rider in total control of how at any moment you choose to ride your Hyperdrive bike. Pedal with no power (analog), pedal with as much or as little power as needed (pedal assist), power with no pedalling (moto). 2015 Santa Cruz BicyclesV10 E2 Superdrive is still riding strong - and let me tell you this bike has been ridden hard for the last 11 years here on the Sunshine Coast. It was a game changing bike for me, (Bjørn). The designer Nick Anderson and the Santa Cruz team really made a marvellous DH bike that with electric power became a bike that allowed me to ride fast all the time and therefore get way stronger as a rider. It redefined riding so you could "uphill the downhills" which I did often on this bike in the early, early mornings. (Maybe at Whistler on occasion).

Super proud to be making electric mountain bikes that are running as well as when they were made. 11 years later. Thanks Gerald for riding this one~!
