đ Read a book by an Indigenous author
đ Attend an Indigenous event
đșïž Learn whose lands you live on
đŹ Have a conversation

To our IPAC community,
On National Physicians Day, we just want to take a moment.
Weâre thinking about all the ways you show up.
In clinics, in hospitals, in community. With patients, families, and learners.
We know this work isnât always easy. A lot of what you carry isnât always seen. And still, you keep going.
Youâre caring for people.
Youâre supporting each other.
Youâre helping make space for Indigenous voices in medicine.
There were dreams of being seen in these spaces.
Of seeing someone who looks like you.
Youâre that for someone now.
Weâre grateful for all you carry.

đŻ A small flame can hold big hope.
The tutulshenam candle was created as a symbol of healing, remembrance, and the path forward. Every candle helps support tutulshenam-ĂĄwtxw (Healing House) on the Sunshine Coast and the goal of getting shovels in the ground this year.
Donate $100 or more and receive a candle designed by Coast Salish artist Jessica Silvey (Red Cedar Woman).
Light it in honour of someone you love.
Light it in memory of someone you miss.
Light it for those still finding their way.

As we mark 10 years since the toxic drug crisis was declared a public health emergency in BC, we are deeply honoured to acknowledge the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary Society and their extraordinary $100,000 contribution in support of tutulshenam-ĂĄwtxw (Healing House).
For decades, the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary has played a vital role in enhancing the quality of healthcare across the regionâproviding volunteer services, raising essential funds, and fostering strong community support for the hospital and related healthcare programs. Their legacy of care and commitment continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people on the Sunshine Coast.
This transformative gift brings us significantly closer to realizing a dedicated healing and recovery space for BC First Nations communities. A new facility, grounded in culture, community, and trauma-informed care.
We are profoundly grateful for your leadership, generosity, and shared commitment to strengthening health and wellbeing across the Sunshine Coast.
