Music-Makers.ca Music is the expression of life. At Music Makers our programs offer children and adults total participation in music through singing, movement, speech, and the use of instruments.

On Tuesday, our intermediate campers will have the incredible opportunity to learn from James MacVarish Law.

🎻 We’re thrilled to welcome a very special guest teacher to Fiddlers Wild Intermediate Camp!

James is a Sunshine Coast fiddler whose playing is both powerful and deeply expressive. Rooted in Celtic and folk traditions, he combines strong rhythm, beautiful tone, and musical storytelling that inspires players of all ages. A graduate of Humber College’s music program, James brings outstanding musicianship, creativity, and a genuine love of the fiddle to every lesson.

After our exciting workshop with JJ Guy and Gordon Stobbe on Monday, campers will continue their musical adventure by learning from another exceptional Canadian fiddler right here on the Sunshine Coast!

We’re so excited that Fiddlers Wild Intermediate Camp is partnering with the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Performing Arts for a special workshop with renowned Canadian fiddlers JJ Guy and Gordon Stobbe, along with accordionist Annette Fischer.

This workshop is a fantastic addition to our week-long Intermediate Fiddlers Summer Camp (July 20–24)—giving campers the chance to learn from world-class musicians while building their skills, confidence, and love of fiddle music.
