Standing between my slate house and my olive orchard in limited edition slate/olive Dolomites hand painted in Milan. I had to have them.
The drywall sander is my recommendation for a finish sander. It has almost zero learning curve when moving from a traditional pole sander. You use the same grit abrasive and sand pretty much in the same way you would with a pole. But you have no dust and it’s way less effort. This is light unpainted splatter texture I am removing. It handled it well but beyond this once you get into heavier texture it isn’t as good as the Planex that I can set to suck itself to the ceiling and be really aggressive.
Nothing beats the Planex for removing texture. I bought my first one exactly 13 years ago and have since built a business around it.
The AIR3 respirator is legit. Light checking this job and I’ve never been so comfortable. I was worried that after a lot of sanding it would be more hindrance than help, pr become hot even with the fans but that wasn’t the case today. I use it with the earbuds which block out the fan noise, so it’s like I am in another planet. (It’s not loud, but it’s there)
Most mixer drills have a max speed between 550-650rpm. This beast from runs 0-500 in first gear and 0-920 in second. The amount of power it has is wild.
The proper way to install vinyl corner bead. 847 adhesive and 1/2” divergent staples.
Spraying stain block primer with the Mark V XT sprayer. You can barely hear that new XT motor slowly turning over.
