With flooding in the news, a lot of people are asking where a leak sensor actually goes. Here are the 5 spots we recommend you place your leak sensor!
đź’§Basement floor or sump pit area: Slow drips or catastrophic failure, often in a basement or utility room where it goes unnoticed
đź’§Near exterior walls and pipe runs: Freeze-thaw cycles make these vulnerable
đź’§Under kitchen and bathroom sinks: High frequency of leaks from supply lines and drain connections
đź’§Washing machine: Supply hose failures are one of the most common sources of major water damage
đź’§Toilet base: Wax ring or supply line issues
Save this one for when you order your leak sensor!

Roads are cut off. Properties are unreachable.
Flooding is happening right now across the country and a lot of property owners have no idea what’s happening inside their walls.
Water doesn’t just come in from rivers and lakes. It seeps through foundations, creeps under doors, and pools silently in crawl spaces and basements while no one is there to catch it.
A leak sensor placed at floor level will trigger an alert the moment water is detected, before it has time to spread, damage flooring, or reach your electrical.
If your property is in a flood-risk area and you haven’t been able to get out there, do you have a plan for knowing if water got in?

Summer storm season is no joke. 🌦️🌩️
A lightning strike takes out the power. The sump pump stops running. The freezer full of walleye starts to thaw. And you’re sitting at home with no idea any of it happened… until you show up Friday night.
Power outages at remote properties are one of those things that seem minor until they’re not.
With a built-in backup battery, CabinPulse lets you keep an eye on your property even when the power goes out. Knowing immediately when the power’s out and how long it’s been out for not only gives you peace of mind but can save you thousands of dollars.

Built in Saskatchewan. Trusted across the world. 🌾
When you design a monitoring device for Canadian winters (the kind that hits -40°C and doesn’t apologize) it turns out it works pretty well everywhere else too.
From Saskatchewan lakes to vacation homes in Mexico, homes in the American midwest, and properties across Europe. CabinPulse was built tough because Canada demanded it.
