As we head into Treaty Days in Saskatchewan, STCIPS is taking time to recognize the treaties that shape our province and the relationships they continue to represent today.

Treaty Days are observed in different ways across Canada, and here in Saskatchewan they are often marked by community gatherings, ceremonies, and cultural events that highlight learning, connection, and reflection.

An opportunity to better understand the significance of these agreements and the role they continue to play in shaping life across the province, alongside the communities and cultures connected to them.

Step 2: Walls up. ⚙️

Not too long ago these were little more than painted steel bases in the shop — now the structures are coming together as work continues on this pair of modular E-Houses at STCIPS.

It’s always rewarding to watch projects move from raw fabrication into fully formed builds, with each stage bringing the final product closer to the field. 🛠️

More to come as the interior fit-up gets underway.

At the SaskPower Supplier Information Event in Saskatoon. ⚡

STCIPS is actively engaged in advancing the conversations shaping Saskatchewan’s energy and infrastructure future. Today’s sessions highlighted not only upcoming work and supply chain priorities, but also the evolving role of Indigenous partnerships across the sector.

From procurement strategies to economic development opportunities, the focus continues to be on increasing awareness, strengthening partnerships, and creating more inclusive pathways for growth across the province—areas where STCIPS is committed to driving meaningful progress.

It’s encouraging to see this momentum building alongside the industry itself. 🤝

Building connections with the next generation. 🎓

STCIPS, alongside Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, recently took part in a career fair at Crocus Plains Secondary School in Brandon, MB, with Lane Donald and Jairo Mosquera representing the team.

It was a great opportunity to speak with students about careers in engineering and industry — sharing experiences, answering questions, and highlighting the pathways available as they look toward their futures.

We also connected with Assiniboine College and their ongoing work supporting First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students through community partnerships, cultural programming, and dedicated student supports.
Their approach is helping strengthen access and opportunity for Indigenous learners to pursue further education and inspiring careers.

Events like this are an important part of building future talent and strengthening the connection between industry, education, and community. 🤝

A great day at the Kilowatt Cup. 🏒

It was a strong showing from teams across the industry, with players from Nutrien, BHP, and K+S coming together for a day of competition, connection, and community.
After a full slate of games, Nutrien Cory won the A-side final against Nutrien Lanigan, BHP Jansen took the B-side final, and Patience Lake won the C-side final over K+S — a great finish to a competitive day on the ice. 🥇

Thank you to all the teams, players, companies, and volunteers whose support helped make the event a success — both on and off the ice.

All proceeds from the event support the White Buffalo Youth Lodge backpack program. We’re proud to be part of that effort. 🤝

That’s a wrap on MSCF 2026. ⚙️

It was an excellent few days at the Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum — hearing updates from presenters, connecting with industry partners, and meeting new industry contacts throughout the event.
Events like MSCF highlight the strength of Saskatchewan's mining industry and the importance of showing up, building relationships, and moving the work forward together. 🤝

From the steady engagement at the booth to the interest in our mini sled display, it was an exciting few days on the floor connecting with the people driving Saskatchewan's mining industry. ⛏️

STCIPS is gearing up for the 2026 Saskatchewan Mining Supply Chain Forum! ⚙️

As one of Saskatchewan’s premier mining and industrial events, MSCF brings together suppliers, operators, and industry leaders from across the province and beyond — and we’re excited to be right in the middle of it.
You’ll find us alongside STCI Group in a double booth near the main concourse(booths 379 & 380), where we’re bringing something a little different this year…

A custom-built mini sled, designed, fabricated, and finished by our team — a scaled-down showcase of the quality and precision behind our full-size builds.

Plus, stop by and take a shot at STCI’s arcade challenge — top scores will be entered for a chance to win. 🎮
Come connect with the team, check out the build, and be part of the action. 🚀
