I had such a lovely little coffee chat ☕️ with a seasoned artist and prof from the U of S last night which left me reflecting not only about art, life and an art practice but also how so very FORTUNATE I have been to be a part of Saskatoon’s visual arts scene over the years. 🗓️

While my days as a uni student feel ever further behind me (every time I step on campus! 😆), I’ve gotten to remain involved as a model for drawing classes for a decade plus now:
in church basements ()
art stores (✏️🎨)
and at the university ( = fond memories 💗, keep it up!)

The amazing array of drawings and portraits, instructors, stories and community I’ve gotten to be a part of and witness during so many wonderful hours will forever hold a special place in my 💖.

Saskatoon has such a rich history of art! 🧑‍🎨 🕰️ I’ve been enriched by it and have absolutely loved taking it all in. So just wanted to give a little shout out to my community along with a thanks for that! 🥰 👏
