For example, if patients with lacerations or chest pains come in, wait times will jump. If registered patients choose not to wait and don't tell us they are leaving, wait times can drop quickly.
Mask Policy: Please wear a medical grade mask.
Screening Questions: Yes, they're still being asked. Please answer truthfully and please be kind in your reply.
Urgent Care Waiting Room: We are working on keeping the waiting room as empty as possible. After registering, feel free to wait your turn in your vehicle; staff will call you when your name is up in the queue. For patients presenting with symptoms, you will be asked to wait in your vehicle. Please keep your cell phone line open for the call from the physician or staff member.

Phones are up!
Severed fibre optic cable repairs were completed approximately 7:00 PM last night and tested this morning. Thanks to the SaskTel repair crew – especially McGregor and Sheila for the cable repair and to our partners at WBM (Jonathan and Mark Jim) to get our network back on-line.
Our apologies to patients who were directly affected by this outage. Sometimes you have to “go with the flow” when things happen that are outside your control.
Phones will be busy today; we appreciate your patience.
Have a good week.
UPDATE - 3:00 PM Monday August 29th:
Since late morning we have had no phone service to and from the office. It appears an underground cable has been cut in the vicinity of the Lakeside Centre building. There is no ETA on the repair at this time.
WE ARE OPEN; just the phones are not working.
Check back on the website for updates.
Apologies to those patients directly affected.
At 11:45 AM Monday morning, we are unable to take phone calls or book patients. Our phones and network has been down for the last 25 minutes; technicians are working on getting us back up as soon as possible.
Stay tuned.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Limitations on physician resources continues. Many shifts these next 5 days will be at least one physician short which will result in increased wait times. Check our website for updated wait times.
Please be kind to the physicians and staff; they're doing the best they can to serve everyone as quickly as possible.
Thanks!
Due to reduced physician resources this weekend, the wait times are expected to be longer then usual. Please check our website www.lakeside.ca for current wait times posted throughout the weekend.

The estimated wait times posted on our website for the Urgent Care Clinic are exactly that … ESTIMATED. And there are a number of factors that can extend or shorten that posted wait time.
After you register, another patient may present with acute chest pains, or an actively bleeding laceration, or an onset of breathing difficulties / allergic reaction, etc. These getting bumped to the top of the list and any one or a combination of these would take a physician out of a regular patient cycle and bump the wait time up.
A physician may be called away to the hospital … the wait time goes up.
Wait times will drop if patients choose to leave before their time is up and they fail to notify reception.
Wait times change throughout the day – every day and all day. Keep checking our website for regular updates.
Remember you can always call 811 and speak with a health care professional.
Here's a few other tidbits of information when visiting our Urgent care Clinic.
Yes, we are still asking the screening questions and are asking that you to mask up when seeing the physician.
If you present with Covid like symptoms, you will be asked to wait in your vehicle until your turn in the queue. Staff will phone you.
If staff phone you and the line is busy, you will be put to the bottom of the queue.
We do not monitor social media for incoming messages.
Our switchboard hours are 0800 to1700hrs Monday to Friday. No patient calls are answered in Urgent Care evenings and weekends.
