Islamic Arabic Weekend School

Teaching Quranic, Arabic and Islamic studies to the Muslim children of the community by the Islamic Students ages between 5 - 16 years.

In an effort to offer Islamic education to the Muslim children of the community, the Islamic Association of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon) runs a weekend school operating every Sunday from October to June of every year. The school teaches Quranic, Arabic and other Islamic studies. The school runs from 10:00 am till 12:30 pm every Sunday for the following levels: Kg, Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Level 4, Level 5 and Level 6.

It is with great pleasure to announce that the Islamic Association of Saskatchewan - Saskatoon Weekend School we will be returning to in-person classes this school year! Returning to school this year will look quite different as there will be several safety measures in place. There will be a mandatory mask mandate for all. Anyone failing to do so, will not be able to attend. Teachers will be full vaccinated to ensure the
safety of students and sanitation measures will continue to take place.

Payments can be made on September 11 and 12th between 1:30pm-3:30pm. The fees for the first two students of the same family is $200, and $100 for the third student. Parents must be wearing a mask.

The first day of school will be September 19th, 2021. The staff at IAWS are working hard to make sure all safety measures are in place. This is going to be a great year, In Shaa Allah!
