A week worth celebrating!
At Essence, we know that our greatest strength is our people.
This week, we celebrated Ashley Britz's 4-year anniversary and Matthew Cennon's 1-year anniversary with our team. Thank you both for your commitment, hard work, and the energy you bring every day. We appreciate all that you do and are grateful to have you as part of the Essence team.
We also came together to create vision boards, sharing goals, challenging ourselves to dream bigger, and sharing what inspires us. We are grateful for a team that supports one another, celebrates wins, and continues to grow together.

Ashley had a wonderful evening volunteering with Bridge City Warmth at their community BBQ, helping serve juice and water to attendees. It was a meaningful opportunity to connect with members of our community and support an incredible initiative. Thanks to the hard work of volunteers and organizers, nearly 600 free meals were served throughout the evening!
We are excited to share a new opportunity with .yxe for a President role.
The President is responsible for leading RAP Saskatoon’s overall strategy, operations, financial sustainability, and community presence. Reporting to the Board of Directors through the Board Chair, this role ensures RAP’s programs are effectively delivered, aligned with the organization’s mission, and supported by strong governance, sound financial management, and clear operational priorities.

Our Essence
Cadence Arno, Talent Research & Engagement Associate
Cadence supports the Essence team through candidate research, talent engagement, and administrative coordination. Since joining the team in November 2025, she has helped connect great people with great opportunities while ensuring clients and candidates experience the personalized service Essence is known for.
Currently pursuing a degree in Economics at Queen’s University, Cadence brings curiosity, strong organizational skills, and a people-focused approach to her work. She enjoys the opportunity to continuously learn about recruitment, leadership, and the businesses and organizations Essence serves. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is gaining a deeper understanding of the company her mother built and seeing firsthand the impact Essence has on organizations and communities across Canada.
Cadence has already become a valued member of the team, and we are excited to see her continue developing her skills while contributing to the exceptional service Essence is known for.
