Weekly Member Spotlight: Rabbi Claudio Jodorkovsky

We’re honored to feature Rabbi Claudio this week, whose contributions as a board member continue to enrich Multifaith Saskatoon.

Rabbi Claudio has been the spiritual leader of Congregation Agudas Israel in Saskatoon since 2012. He received his rabbinic ordination from the Latin American Rabbinical Seminary in 2002 and is affiliated with the Rabbinical Assembly, the international organization of Masorti Judaism, a progressive Jewish movement that seeks to balance traditional Jewish law with modern values.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Non-Profit Management and an MA in Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Lethbridge.

Rabbi Claudio has volunteered with several community organizations in Saskatoon and received the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in 2022 for his involvement in interfaith and social justice initiatives.

He is also a member of the University of Saskatchewan’s Faith Leaders’ Council. He is married to Andrea and has two children, Amiel and Yoel.

We extend our sincere thanks to Rabbi Claudio for his ongoing dedication, wisdom, and leadership. His commitment to fostering understanding and connection across communities plays a vital role in advancing our shared mission.
