✨️ Fundraising Feature: Lashburn High School ✨️

Fundraising for the Kinsmen Foundation represents some of the best of who we are as a province, people lending a hand to others. The donations seen at TeleMiracle directly impact Saskatchewan residents' quality of life and help them gain independence.

Lashburn High School girls volleyball team came together with their student body to raise $7090.05. They accomplished this significant achievement by organizing a massive silent auction and a volleyball tournament fundraiser. To participate in the volleyball tournament, teams had to raise at least $300. Students from the high school rallied behind their classmates and the local community donated close to 100 items for their silent auction.

This is the Saskatchewan spirit, coming together to make someone else's life better. πŸ’–β

In 1982, the University of Saskatchewan Agricultural Students Association (the Agros) increased their fundraising efforts for TeleMiracle by pushing a bedframe on bike wheels across Saskatchewan. This became known as the Bedpush. πŸ›ŒπŸ«·β

Over 45 years the Agros have raised more than $1,000,000 for TeleMiracle cumulatively with their Bedpush fundraiser.

National Volunteer Week πŸ™‹β

April 19-25 is National Volunteer Week and we have a lot of volunteers we are thankful for!

TeleMiracle takes a lot of manpower and the granting work of the Kinsmen Foundation happens all-year long.

We wanted to acknowledge the TeleMiracle 50 Committee who put countless hours in and ran a very successful show.

We also wanted to acknowledge the Kinsmen Foundation Board of Directors who reviews grant applications throughout the year.

Both the TeleMiracle Commitee and Kinsmen Foundation Board of Directors are composed of Saskatchewan Kin members.

During TeleMiracle, volunteers come from all across Saskatchewan and from different Kin clubs to serve in many capacities!

Saskatchewan Kin members volunteer and fundraise for TeleMiracle. Beyond this significant contribution, you'll find Kin members serving their local communities greatest needs across Saskatchewan.
