This week, all our locations across the province displayed red dresses in honour of Red Dress Day on Tuesday.
This powerful symbol represents how we remember, honour and support the families and communities of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQIA+ Peoples.

Today, we honour Red Dress Day.
The Red Dress first became a symbol of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQIA+ Peoples through the work of Métis artist, Jaime Black. Jaime displayed red dresses in public spaces to bring awareness to the ongoing and disproportionate levels of violence Indigenous women, girls and Two-Spirit people experience.
In honour of this National Day of Awareness, all our locations have red dresses displayed as we recognize the lives of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and 2SLGBTQIA+ Peoples and stand with families and communities in remembrance and support.
