Wildfires silenced our 2025 stage, but the songs kept drifting through the northern boreal forest. Good news — the musicians heard them.

We’re thrilled to announce that nearly all of the amazing lineup we had planned is making their way back to the Ramble in 2026, along with some fantastic additions!

Sharptail Live in Saskatoon

We're excited to be hopping up on the mainstage once again for the 33rd St. BID Annual Fair!

We played one of our first gigs here, and even found our name 3 years ago on Ave C & 33rd, right after we played the 33rd Street Fair's mainstage for the first time.

We can't wait to see you all there, alongside all the other amazing artists and vendors, this upcoming Saturday at 10am!

Four seasons have come and gone, and now the glue that keeps Sharptail together has another year under his belt, wrote a few songs from the soul, made some crazy-ass hot sauce, and had many adventures!

Here's to you, dood - to great health, to great music, and many more adventures to come!

Thank you for being the role model you are, teaching us all how we can walk with better understanding and patience throughout this world, and simply for being the stellar human you are! I couldn't imagine a better musical partner in crime!

We had a ridiculously good time playing at our favourite venue and fave festival in Northern Saskatchewan---The Northern Lights Bluegrass and Old-Tyme festival! It was such a privilege to get to entertain the folks and bump shoulders and shuffle feet on the dance floor with so many new and old friends.

Thank you to everyone who works so hard to make this festival happen every year. WE WILL BE BACK. This festival is so important because it showcases the fruit of so much hard work from musicians and community organizers, and the music camp leading up to the festival also provides a venue for the next generation of musicians to access valuable in-person learning necessary to carry on the tradition embedded within these beautiful music genres.

Sharptail is a musical collaboration between Mitch Dureault and Aryn Murray. Together, they blend the rich folk traditions of melodic Oldtime dance with captivating storytelling. Using the timeless sounds of fiddle, banjo, and guitar, they weave together themes of love, adventure, and human struggle. Their raw, emotional sound aims to personally connect listeners to the stories we tell, inviting them into intimate performances that capture the earthy essence of Saskatchewan folk music.

We are soooooper excited to be playing this summer on the main stage. The line up this year is phenomenal, and it is going to truly be a treat sharing our music with y'all, July 17th-20th, get your tickets and use up those holidays.

It's 2025, things are starting to feel good again post pandemic, the sun is out, and it's going to be a brilliant summer. This is going to be Mitch's first time attending the Nesscreek festival! Good thing he has a janky veteran like Aryn to show him all the best places to examine the forest and the deep recesses of his psyche, while laughing and boppin' around the bush.
