MYTH: If I don’t report damage right away, I won’t be covered.
REALITY: You have up to 72 hours to report hail or fire damage to Palliser.

Remembering Palliser’s Founder, Rennie McQueen

Rennie McQueen founded Palliser Insurance in February 1997. A driving force and respected leader in the Canadian crop hail industry, Rennie was a key principal of McQueen Agencies Ltd., founded in January 1960, and the catalyst behind Palliser Insurance until his retirement in 2016.

Deeply respected by his peers, colleagues, friends and family, Rennie was known as an astute and caring business leader with a fair-minded approach to insurance. He placed great importance on maintaining a high level of adjusting expertise within the organization.

It was a great source of pride to Rennie that Catherine, Ren and Scott followed him into the family business, carrying forward a legacy that continues to shape Palliser.

In honour of our founder, and with great respect for his life and legacy, the Palliser Insurance office will be closed Thursday, September 17, as we gather to celebrate Rennie’s life.

🌾 Crop Spotlight: Borage
Those tiny blue flowers are growing something pretty unique! 💙

Borage is a specialty crop grown for its seeds, which are used to produce an oil naturally rich in GLA. And those beautiful blue flowers aren’t just for show—pollinators, particularly bees, play an important role in helping the crop set seed. 🐝
