Congratulations to new puppy parents, Deb and Tim! They were very excited to welcome the newest addition to their family, Betty, and wanted a special way to announce her arrival 🐾 I'd never done a "peternity" shoot before (or whatever you might call this lol) but I'm so glad I did because it was a ton of fun! I've never giggled so much while editing photos!! And thanks again for being such great sports while I ran around the backyard hanging tarps over trees to bounce light around in my new outdoor studio 😁 Can't wait to meet Betty at our next session for family portraits 🥰

2020-21 has been one of the most challenging times for my kid and I. But despite our losses and letdowns, we pick ourselves up, grab our stick (or camera lol) and keep skating. We cheer each other on when we do well, and even more when we get tired or mess up. I'm always so amazed by the resilience of children, and I fully believe that sports and teamwork helps them to be even tougher. My heart hurts so much for all the families and kids struggling to get through this pandemic. But, like a game of ringette or hockey that doesn't go the way you'd hoped it would, please remember, THANK YOU to all the coaches out there who kept looking for ways to keep coaching our kids through the pandemic 🙏💪🙌
