I grew up in Estevan, Saskatchewan with a family who was passionate about maintaining and growing gardens (vegetable, flower, and rock/succulent gardens). As a kid, my sisters and I were always outside helping and digging in the dirt. My mom, especially, taught me to appreciate the natural beauty that exists in our outdoor spaces and how to envision and transform them. My dad taught me the importa

I will temporarily need to change the name of my business to "Dust to More Dust." Ain't nobody planting any roses without a working thumb. I tore a ligament in my thumb during a soccer game (LOL) and had surgery on Thursday to repair it. It will be a good 6 weeks of healing before I can remove the cast. I have had to put a few jobs on hold until late August/September but I look foward to making your yards beautiful when I am all healed up! š Have a beautiful summer, everyone! ššš

After a few minor setbacks (sprained ankle and classic September colds), I finally finished this last big job of the season (before and after photo). I am so happy how it turned out!
This summer was my official first year as Dust to Roses Landscaping and I was incredibly blown away by how well it went and the amount of jobs I was able to get. Thanks for all of the support and see you next spring!
Talk to me over the winter about your spring and summer landscape plans - I am already excited to get started again! :)

Stripped sod and hauled 8 (cu) yards of crushed rock the past couple of days for a lovely couple in River Heights, Saskatoon. This was also my first time using a gas-powered sod cutter and that was SO MUCH FUN! Now time to rest for a day or two!

Step 3: placement of plants
Step 4: put plants into ground (using miccorhizae root enhancer)
Step 5: 4 inches of cedar mulch
