As a winner of Communities at Play, École St. Adolphe is one step closer to creating a new outdoor play space for local children and families. The project will help bring the community together while making play more accessible and welcoming for every child.

The Sandbox team was proud to visit the Town of Whitewood to present a $25,000 Communities at Play cheque in support of a brand new accessible playground.

Located next to the local pool, the new space will replace an outdated playground with a modern, inclusive design featuring accessible surfacing, ramped play structures, sensory elements, and ground level activities for children of all abilities. It will serve as a welcoming space for local families, neighbouring communities, and visitors, creating a place where every child can play, explore, and belong.
