Well, this is awkward. Our intention was to host Movement in the Park every Monday and Thursday evening at 6:30pm but the summer weather hasn’t been in our favour. We’ve had some reach and connected with a handful of people who came out, experienced Animal Flow and loved it!

Luckily we still have 2 whole months so don’t fret.

To sign up and experience Animal Flow follow the link below!

I took a 2-week break from strength training over the holidays, which felt easeful and calming for me. I didn’t want to feel any stress over trying to fit workouts in while enjoying time with loved ones.

The first workout back was HARD! I could feel the sugar dripping from my pores thanks to all the Christmas baking 😂

I felt lethargic and really had to push to get through that first workout. My mind began playing tricks on me (as the mind is apt to do), telling me this was just too hard and we should just quit strength training altogether (not happening)!

Moral of the story? The break was worth it and I would do it again - but maybe not for 2 weeks because it was so hard to get back on the routine! While strength training absolutely needs to be consistent, there are also times when I need to flow with life.
